Scott was an enthusiastic hard tackling midfield player prone to over
enthusiasm at times as he was dismissed twice in his City career,
once just four minutes after coming on as a sub! Despite spells at
Wigan, Mansfield and Carlisle he had made just one sub appearance in
the Football League (for Carlisle) before joining City from
Droylesden in 2002. A regular in his first season he totalled 23
Leaue starts (10 sub and three goals) but was out of favour in his
second season and had a spell on loan at Hereford before joining
Halifax. Has since played for Stalybridge, Leigh RMI (where he was
‘Player of the Season’ in 2005/06), AFC Telford and Witton Albion.
