Vastly experienced keeper who won a Division 4 title and was an FA
Cup runner up with Watford. Had played over 550 senior games with
Millwall, Brentford, Watford, Grimsby and Northampton before joining
the Imps on a non-contract basis. His City debut came when he
replaced the injured Andy Leaning midway through a game at Wigan in
1995; the first time a City goalkeeper had been replaced by another
goalkeeper in a Football League match. He played his final game for
the Club on April 22nd 1995 at the age of 41yrs 133 days making him
the third oldest Imp to play a League game for us.
